Occupying a historic building that once served as an acute care hospital, the Yosemite Medical Clinic is a full-service outpatient medical facility in the iconic Yosemite Valley. The clinic is open 40 hours per week for most of the year, but from mid-May through mid-September Yosemite National Park experiences peak visitation and the clinic may operate up to seven days per week. The Yosemite Medical Clinic provides urgent care services to park visitors and residents, as well as primary care services including occupational health to residents and employees.
Hours
Open all year (except on federal holidays). The clinic will be closed Monday, February 16, 2026.
Urgent Care Walk-in Hours
Monday through Friday: 1 pm to 3:30 pm
Limited insurance accepted. Please plan to pay out of pocket if you have out-of-state insurance.
Primary Care Hours (appointment only)
Monday through Thursday: 9 am to noon (additional appointments as time allows).
The Yosemite Medical Clinic is experiencing strong demand for primary care services. To protect access, quality, and continuity of care for our current patients, we are temporarily pausing enrollment of new primary care patients while a second staff physician is recruited.
Patients who already have new primary care appointments scheduled will be seen as planned. Urgent care and occupational health services remain available. We appreciate the community’s patience and will provide updates as capacity expands.
